Free Weekly Art & Writing Therapy Workshops
From April to August 2024, we are offering free weekend workshops, providing two hours of art therapy and two hours of writing therapy. These sessions are dedicated to helping Montreal’s youth navigate their mental health challenges through creative outlets and skill-building. Illuminate aims to foster understanding, encourage dialogue, and provide effective therapeutic strategies for mental health through the transformative power of art and creative expression. Join us as we embark on this illuminating journey, casting light on youth mental health, and inspiring creative leaders within our community.
A huge thank you to everyone who showed up to our first ever open-mic poetry night! We raised over $500 for our youth mental health program, “Illuminate.”
Educator Natalie Lavers has been collaborating with a group of Paramount Study teens to develop body care products and candles. They raised $475 to support art and mental health projects through the Creative Arts Foundation of Canada.
